People often times see the platform but they never see the pit. They don’t see the prayers, aches, groans and spiritual warfare that go on behind the scenes. Yes, we are saved by grace through faith. Yes, the Lord fights for us. But we also have to be accountable for our own personal growth—for spiritual maturity. You have to fight for your sanctification. As children of God, we have a target on our back—the last thing the enemy wants you to do is pursue righteousness. You have to surrender and sacrifice things in order to grow in relationship with our God and understand what this spiritual battle is all about.

But I believe sharing the rawness and reality of what it looks like to grow with our Father is important in making disciples.

I hope this podcast episode encourages you, equips you and blesses you.
